Description of Mazeika Motorsports: Our Motorcycle Drag Racing team is currently running in several motorcycle drag racing series. Now running “UGLY” in Pro Et, Street Et, 5.60 Index, and 8.88 Index classes. We’re looking to do more traveling and racing in the 2019 season and getting back into the winner circle for the 3rd year in a row.
What is unique about your Race Team? We put having fun 1st! We have been at the highest of the highs and lowest of the lows in this sport, and after taking a few years off, we have realized that life is about having fun and the same goes with racing. Don’t get it twisted though; we like to win just as much as having fun too!
Has Mazeika Motorsports been involved in community/volunteer events? Each member of our racing team believes that helping the community is an incredibly important part of our platform. Through our main businesses, we are always donating, volunteering, and helping to improve the community both locally and nationally.
Recent Projects/Jobs: UGLY build in 2017, taking it out and winning at its 2nd race. So we will never paint it! Also, our new Grudge Bike, “Full Metal Jacket,” is coming in 2019. Look for those shirts from Excel Sportswear as well!
Inspirational Moments: (cool things you/your Race Team has been involved with, ex:
breaking a record, winning a big race, etc.): The best moments of having our race team are always each, and anytime, we can get in the winner’s circle! It is a blessing to be able to go out, have fun, and win. Other awesome memories for Nick personally include, winning the first national race at 18 years old and a national championship at 19 years old. This success includes the National Championship in 2008 with Sponsored Rider of the Year and Rookie of the Year all in the same year!
