As days passed, we all began to reflect on the impact of these events that forever changed our lives and brought us together as a nation.
Our thoughts showered upon those lost during these attacks and their loved ones, including our heroic first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice without hesitation or pause.
For most Americans, it is a story of unity against the forces of evil and one that we will always reference when history reminds us of what is worth fighting for.
