This “Design of the Week” features “Liberty Founded 1776”!
This Design of the Week is our second entry in the 2019 Patriot Series, “Liberty Founded 1776,” our exclusive shirt celebrating America’s Independence Day. The Fourth of July is our nation’s birthday, and people all across the country honor America with gatherings of family and friends, cookouts, parties and, of course, fireworks.
“On Memorial Day, Excel launched the “Patriot Series” 2019 designs,” explains Excel founder Pat Tzanis, “The success was amazing, thousands of shirts printed and worn all over the US. l personally took a few dozen shirts to my club for our picnic, I should have brought a few hundred! People loved the design and put the shirts on immediately. I admit I loved seeing Excel on the back of such a patriotic shirt.”
Much like our Memorial Day shirt “Because of the Brave,” this Fourth of July design captures patriotic images printed on a retro heather royal blue shirt. As the symbol of freedom and independence, Lady Liberty is prominently featured in front of the letters “U-S-A” and surrounded by stars and stripes. America’s birthday rounds out the design, “Founded July 4th, 1776.”
Tzanis urges people to “be the hero” this year and provide these shirts for the partygoers. “There will be plenty of hot dogs and coleslaw but the purpose is the country’s independence, so let’s celebrate! Everyone is looking for that red, white and blue… your employees, your customers, your prospects and your family!”
And just like our first Patriot Series shirt, we’re offering a free logo on the backs of these shirts with orders of 48 items or more. Your company’s logo and message will be printed in white, just below the collar.
“Turn this great holiday into a yearly reminder and a patriot shirt that carries your company, organization or school proudly on the back,” says Tzanis.
“This time I am taking 100 shirts to my club,” laughs Tzanis. “I was a little embarrassed when people kept coming over and asking and I was out of shirts. It’s sure to happen again this year but I certainly will have done my part for the party!”
Order your shirts by this Friday, June 21st to guarantee delivery by the Fourth of July!
