Our latest Design of the Week features Freightliner of Kalamazoo.
Founded in Grand Rapids, MI in 1978 by Roger Verlee and Scott Rawlings, the Freightliner brand was expanded to Kalamazzo in 1994.
Together, these branches have grown to become the largest dealership in West Michigan.
“We pride ourselves on being more than a typical dealership,” says Kim Holden of Freightliner of Kalamazoo. “Our work is fueled by loyalty, integrity, and experience.”
The success of the Kalamazoo branch resulted in a significant expansion in 2005 where it now occupies a sprawling 25-acre complex in Mattawan. Between their two locations, Freightliner of Grand Rapids and Freightliner of Kalamazoo currently employs more than 115 specialists and house over three million dollars worth of parts.
Freightliner of Kalamazoo features not only the best selection of new Freightliner trucks, but it also has an inventory of over 100 used trucks, including Freightliner, Peterbilt, Volvo, Kenworth, and other popular makes.
They also feature parts and service, with an Express Assessment Bay where their professional staff of ASE Certified and Factory Trained Technicians can diagnose any issues and service your truck with skill and care.
Freightliner of Kalamazoo is a repeat customer of Excel, frequently ordering through Steve McCarroll. “This is our fifth shirt order, with a new design every time,” says Holden. “We’re always happy with the excellent work!”
This design, illustrated by Excel’s Todd Kern, features a Freightliner truck and orange flames, with “Severely Serious” written across the bottom. “I love them,” says Holden of this order. “They’re great shirts, probably one of our best.”
Located at 53449 Main Street, the sales hours of Freightliner of Kalamazoo are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Their service hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with Saturday service hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. (Both closed Sundays.)
