This “Design of the Week” features Buchanan Transportation, LLC!
Celebrating National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, our Design of the Week is Buchanan Transportation, LLC.
Founded in 2017 by Curtis Mummert and Jerry Bard, Buchanan Transportation is a cargo and freight company servicing the eastern half of the United States.
“We wanted a design that incorporated our core values of delivering swift service while remembering our name (and reputation) is on every load we haul,” says Mummert. “We want to be the carrier our customers can count on by providing Quality Service through our Team of Dependable Professional Drivers.”
Illustrated by Excel artist Chris Gebrosky, their shirts feature their signature red International Lonestar, their logo, and “Driver Appreciation” on the bottom.
Every year, America takes the time to honor all professional truck drivers for their hard work and commitment in tackling one of our economy’s most demanding and important jobs. These 3.5 million professional men and women not only deliver our goods safely, securely and on time, they also keep our highways safe. This year National Truck Driver Appreciation Week is celebrated September 8-14th.
Mummert made sure to include “Driver Appreciation” on this special shirt. “It’s a simple but effective way for us to remind ourselves and our customer how much we value the team of drivers we’ve assembled to represent Buchanan,” he says. “Buchanan Transport’s mission for its employees is to provide an environment that all our team members feel respected and appreciated while meeting the high demands of our business.”
When looking for a Driver Appreciation shirt, Mummert knew to turn to Excel. “Fast and easy,” he says. “We’ve been working with Excel for many years in other businesses,” he adds. “Always great people, great designs, and quality service.”
